On October 26 2013, I was lucky enough to marry the love of my love.  Our wedding was the start of a beautiful life together and the beginning of my love for event planning.  I enjoyed every moment of planning that went into creating the 'big day'.  From carefully selecting the venue and building a concept around it to developing the smallest details. 

My wedding motto was "elegance on a budget"! We selected GrassyHill Country Club for its versitility.  For the price of one event we were able to utilize 4 seperate locations for the ceremony, cocktail hours and reception.  The service was great and guests raved about the food.  A memorable event is made in the details and one of my favorites was our canvas guestbook which now hangs on our wall so that we can read the well wishes from our guests each day.  If I had to pick one aspect of the wedding that I loved more than all the rest it would have to be my dress.  I custom designed it with the help of Special Occasions Bridal House in North Haven, CT.  The base was a simple white bridesmaid dress.  We used pieces of my mother's wedding dress to create one of a kind wedding gown with incredibly special meaning.
